这个阶段的孩子，体格进一步发育，神经系统日趋成熟。此时的宝宝差不多已经开始长乳牙了，常是最先长出两颗下中切牙(下门牙)，然后长出上中切牙(上门牙)，再长出上侧切牙。满六个月时：男婴体重５．９～９．８千克，身长６２．４～７３．２厘米；女婴体重５．５～９．０千克，身长６０．６～７１．２厘米。头围４４厘米，出牙两颗。
此时的宝宝听力比以前更加灵敏了，能分辨不同的声音，并学着发声。会发两三个辅音，在大人背儿歌时会做出一种熟知的动作。你可用以下方法提高他的语言能力：慢慢地清晰地和他说话；使用短句，继续区分物体，说名字时要指给他看；重复宝宝的音节；轻微地变化声音，等待他的重复；唱相同的歌或摇篮曲，重复会帮他学习；别对宝宝说个不停，给他时间反应。
此时的婴儿俯卧时，能用肘支撑着将胸抬起，但腹部还是靠着床面。仰卧时喜欢把两腿伸直举高。随着头部颈肌发育的成熟，这年龄的孩子的头能稳稳当当地竖起来了，他们就不愿意家长横抱着，喜欢大人把他们竖起来抱。一旦孩子挺起胸部，你就可以帮助他“实践”坐起。很快他就学会“三脚架”——身体向前倾时伸手支撑，保持上身平衡，逐渐地腰部肌肉发育了，靠坐时，腰能伸直。可能还需要一段时间他才不需要你的帮助自己坐起来。随着身体协调能力的提高，孩子将发现自己身体的其他部分。仰面躺时，他会抓住他的脚和脚趾，并送入口中；更换尿布时，他会向下触摸生殖器；坐起时，他会拍自己的臀部和大腿。
此时期他已能在镜子中发现自己，并与这个新伙伴聊天。 照镜子时会笑，用手摸镜中人。能够知道自己的名字，听到叫他的名字会有反应。
这个阶段，宝宝处在“发现”阶段。随着认知能力的发育，他很快会发现一些物品，例如铃铛和钥匙串，在摇动时会发出有趣的声音。当他将一些物品扔在桌上或丢到地板上时，可能启动一连串的听觉反应，包括：喜悦的表情、呻吟或者导致物件重现或者重新消失的其他反应。他开始故意丢弃物品，让你帮他拣起。这时你可千万不要不耐烦哟，因为这是他学习因果关系并通过自己的能力影响环境的重要时期。
现在，宝宝变得越来越好动，对这个世界充满了好奇心。这个阶段是宝宝自尊心形成的非常时期，所以父母要引起足够的关注，对宝宝适时给予鼓励，从而使宝宝建立起良好的自信心。当他想做一些危险的事情或者干打扰家庭成员休息的事情时，你必须加以约束，然而这时候你处理这个问题最有效的方法是用玩具或其他活动使孩子分心。
这个阶段宝宝除了有些长牙的烦恼外，生活充满了无穷的活力。给他喂奶或洗尿布时总是扭来扭去；抱他时他又弓背又弯身；实际上是说‘快把我放下，我有别的事情要做。’ 此时的孩子已有比较复杂的情绪了，高兴时会笑，不称心时会发脾气，父母离开时会害怕、恐惧。所以要注意不要在生人刚来时突然离开孩子；也不能用恐怖的表情和语言吓唬孩子；更不能把自己的情绪发泄在孩子身上，对孩子冷落、不耐烦、甚至打骂。要让你的孩子在快乐中成长，你首先要保持一个良好的心态，因为父母的一言一行对孩子很重要。这时候宝宝出现认生的行为，对许多东西表现出害怕。

We are still waiting for Annabelle to be teething, but dont know when will it be?

Like my pacifier?
I have 1 in purple & another 1 in green... both with bear cartoon. Everyday I must have them with me... Annabelle
After the rice cereal meal...
Annabelle's having fulled cereal around her mouth... but it's a good start! But she's not really keen on the cereal yet. Mummy

Finally mummy let Annabelle try some rice cereal from Heinz. Mummy placed her into her new bumbo seat... She managed to finish 3/4 of the portion. Mummy said:"Annabelle is such a good girl", hehe...
Of course her mouth, her shirt & even her hands are so messy (with fulled of cereal) after the meal. But it's a good start.

第6個月的小改變
1. Annabelle likes to join in our conversation, 也愛 '看' 大人們交談. 很專心 '看' 好像 她自己也很懂一樣. Then sometimes she adds in "ar!" "Oh", "ya"... haha...
2. She dislikes ppl to awake her when she's sleeping, if not, she cries loudly, no give face, haha.
3. 對人嘻嘻笑, she likes to smile when ppl call her

第4, 5, 6個月的小改變
4th month -
1.Annabelle grabs her toes, on her left leg 手捉自己的腳.
2. When she's happy, kicks her legs non-stopped!
3. 翻身後 又會 翻回來
4. 愛笑, playful
5. Talk to us with her baby words, 啊啊叫
(Drinking 4-4&1/2-5ozs)
5th month -
1. she grabs & sucks her toes, on both legs.
2. Start to crawl, but move backward 往後爬 instead of forward. But end of July, she can move forward a bit.
3. She can move like a frog (腹部沒有貼在地上爬行) if she saw something she really likes, eg. saw the duck duck plastic mat, her own photos... she moves faster.
4. We placed a big mirror in the dining room, when she saw herself in the mirror, she laughs. 很愛照鏡子，每每看到鏡子裏的自己都會開心地笑起來.Mummy always plays with her in front of the mirror, Annabelle love it!

6. When we called her, Lee yenwen ar, yenwen ar, girl ar, meimei ar... she smiles to us.
7. 牙床癢. 整天要咬咬咬咬
All toys that she grabs, she puts it in her mouth-suck suck suck.
8. Her fingers are more sensitive, moving fast.
9. 會伸手搶東西
10. 翻身後 又會 翻回來 - 更靈活了

3rd triple Antigen & Hepatitis B injection
Annabelle's having 3rd triple Antigen & Hepatitis B combined injection today.
Daddy & grandma accompanied her, she cried loudly even before doctor gave her an injection. Hopefully she wont get fever. Have to monitor closely to her.
Some questions to doctor:
1. Can Annabelle sit on a walker now?
Yes, only with full support on her back.
2. Can we give solid food to her now?
Yes, with cereal base.
3. When's the next visit to doctor?
On her 1st birthday.
Now, Annabelle's head length: 44cm
Height: 64cm
Weight: 7.4kg

Did an urine test again for Annabelle
This morning, we brought Annabelle to DSH again to do the urine test again, expected will be taking a long hours cos we had experienced last time, which took quite awhile for Annabelle to pass urine.
Went to Doctor Vasathan's clinic, but the nurse directed us to Emergency ward to do the urine test. Oh before that, mummy met one of the old NZ friends, Kelly yeoh & her mum, Kelly was bringing her 3 months old son for an injection.
This is the first time mummy been to emergency ward, lots of medical machines there... Annabelle looked so curious for this environment, she kept on look here & there, her legs kicked non-stop. Place the urine bag for her, and we waited there... 10 mins - have yet to get it, another 10 mins we check - wow! she passed urine... mummy quickly went to call one of the nurses, managed to get the urine to pour into a sterile container.
Afternoon we received a call from Vasathan, Annabelle has no urine infection, thanks god!!!
Will bring Annabelle for injection on her 3rd Triple Antigen 3 days after.
