Daddy & mummy brought Annabelle to Midvalley (old & new phase The Gardens) for shopping. Met aunty YuYen there. Had a great shopping trip! Also Annabelle took her passport photo, cos we are going to bring her to do passport on next Monday.

Annabelle was in good mood when she was taking photo, she smiled to the lady. Here'are the 2 photos.

什么时候宝宝开始能够记事？

在宝宝2个月时，宝宝就能识别那些熟悉的面孔和声音，特别是天天能够见到的那些。新生宝宝一出生就能听出妈妈的声音，母乳喂养的宝宝1周后就能闻出妈妈的味道，这些可以说是宝宝记忆的开端。3个月的宝宝能够再认1~6天前给他看过的新图片和新玩具。9个月的宝宝能够记得更细节的东西，比如他喜欢的玩具到底放在家中的什么地方，可以模仿一周前学到的东西，即延迟模仿——先前经验在延迟一定时间后，出现对该经验的模仿行为，这也显示宝宝出现了一定的回忆能力，14~18个月时他能回忆更多。1岁的宝宝能够理解客体永存，2岁时能有意识地回忆以前发生的事情。

Mummy gives Annabelle "school time" every nite, actually just to let her learn some new words eg. My body, My food & learning ABC flash cards, hope she can remember, & try to create a learning environment for her...

什么时候能知道宝宝是左撇子？

宝宝到底爱用右手还是左手，在他6~9个月大时能看出些端倪，真正确定要到宝宝2~3岁，因为他开始惯用那只手。有些宝宝在18个月时，就能判断出他的偏好。有些宝宝则两只手都会用，直到5~6岁才会做出选择。这件事和遗传大有关系，如果爸妈都是左撇子，那宝宝是左撇子的概率在45~50%。但无论宝宝爱用哪只手，做爸妈都不要试图去影响或纠正宝宝，如果宝宝确实是个左撇子，非要强迫他用右手的话，不仅不能改变这个事实，还会给宝宝的成长带来困扰。

宝宝总是咿咿呀呀，他什么时候能够说话？

许多宝宝在12个月时能说1~2个词语，也有不少宝宝要到16~18个月时才说出第1个词。大部分宝宝在1岁时已经理解不少词的意思，他们懂得的要比会说的多。如果你的宝宝咿呀作语，模仿各种声音，其实他就是在回应你，表示他明白你的意思，说话之日指日可待了。

副食品

Annabelle's having 1 meal of rice cereal daily now. Finished 1 pack of Nestle apple/cranberry rice cereal, now trying Healthy times Barley cereal.
Mummy has bought Heinz finger biscuit for her to try out, but she doesnt like it, she's passing it from hand to another hand, like playing toy. hahaha... (but actually daddy has tried the biscuit, it's no taste just like roti biscuit. Last week, bought another type of Rusk biscuit, this is more delicious biscuit, she bites... I think she likes it more.
Also we start to let her drink some Heinz apple juice, but she doesnt quite like it, will take time la...

So far, we havent let her eat congee, or any fruits yet. May b let her try some egg york later.

Knocked on my forehead

Annabelle knocked her forehead on the floor, actually we already covered up the mattress with big pillows... but I think she's out of curiousity, she climbed over the big pillow, made a fall down, knocked on her forehead. She cries when she saw mummy ran from kitchen. Mummy gave her a big hug, & carried her to distract her attention to other stuff eg. toys. Luckily she just cried for a while...

Guys, can u see her "hong mao lao" (western building) on my forehead? Annabelle asked.
It's ok, this is one of the lessons u learnt in your life... crawling...

Daddy & baby at Midvalley yoyo restaurant

We like to go to Yoyo restaurant bcos it's not so crowded, reasonable price and we like the pork chop burger & curry pork chop rice there...

With my new car seat

Daddy & mummy bought this carseat for Annabelle one month ago when its sale time. The carrier that Annabelle's having now - it's too small for her. We decided to buy her a new car seat... this is a brand called Maxi Cosi, from Holland. The demo guy is so good at the product knowledge, so for the safety reason, we bought it for Annabelle. It costs RM810, so expensive leh...

We let Annabelle to try on, but she still a bit young for the car seat, it's for 9 month-old or 9kg onwards baby. Annabelle, u have 2 choices: 1 is drink more milk grow up to 9kg, 2 is wait till u r 9th month old la... hehe

Annabelle starts to recognise ppl

Some ppl that she loves, she gives them a big laugh & kicking her legs or a shy shy smile...
Some ppl that she feels strange, she cries or turns her face to mummy's shoulder...

Yesterday, we brought Annabelle to Werdna Hol cup, many uncles/aunties there, her reaction was diff. Just to see who's the lucky one she gave a big cry. hehehe

Do you guys noticed Annabelle has a very nice pair of ears & her head/forehead is rounded. Agreed?
